A Whirlwind Summer

Whew, I've been wanting to post an Unboxing post of the GazettE's DIVISION [Limited Edition] for a while now.  Anyway, I decided that my recap + unboxing should probably be separated into two posts, otherwise this thing would be hellishly long.  And if you're browsing to see the pictures of the album, you're probably not all that interested in my life/wall of text.

Anywho...

Everything's just been sort of hectic since my last post...in...late August?  Had my finals for summer school and a trip to Canada.  Man, that was crazy.  See, for this session of summer school, I was taking a lab and a class.  Labs were Tuesdays and the class was Tuesdays/Thursdays.  Our TA for the lab class told us that we wouldn't have to write an actual lab report for the last lab.  We just needed to complete an assignment while our experiments ran.

However, on the last day of class, he said that we might not have enough time for the assignment since our experiment was time consuming, so we had to turn in a lab report, to be due in a week.  This is all fine and dandy, but my parents and I decided that we'd make a trip up to Canada the DAY I finished summer school.  Basically, I had one day (Wednesday) to complete my lab report, review for my final on Thursday, and pack.  You might be asking why not just do the lab report in Canada?  I would have done that, except...I have no reliable internet up north.  I was going to stay at my Grandma's house...and she doesn't have a computer/internet access.  Anywho, that Wednesday was rough.  I completed most of the lab report and started studying for my final.  Oh procrastination...  Stayed up for the entire night (nothing new), got to school, took my final, went home, ate lunch, packed, finished my lab report, arrived at the airport three hours early for my midnight flight...  Oh yeah.  Fun times.

I was in Canada for about a week.  It's so incredibly lovely there.  I don't remember the last time I've seen a clear sky.  It always amazes me how beautifully clear and clean the skies are, especially when I compare it with the view back home.  Blergh.  That said, I can't believe I got no pictures of the scenery there.  I'm such a dum-dum. -___-  Weather was mostly fantastic.  Had some rain between really gorgeous days.  Loved visiting family there.  I always get so spoiled whenever I visit.  Eating non-stop, sleeping in...whew.  So good for the soul, but so terrible for my waistline. :D

I miss it there so much.  When I arrived at the airport back home, I could FEEL the difference in the air quality.  It was so disgusting.  Suffice to say, my lungs weren't very happy with me.  Rested, did laundry the next day, and moved into my apartment the day after!  See.  I wasn't kidding when I said it was a whirlwind summer.  Sure, I would have loved another week in Canada, or a week between coming back home and moving in, but it is what it is.

School started about a week after I moved in.  Slowly starting to get back into the swing of things.  Okay, no, not really, but I'm hoping to get there soon.

Yeah.  Soon.  Until then I suppose.
